A necessary edition to any arcade, this is a recreation of a Galaga coin-operated arcade cabinet circa 1981. The specifications do not match the core design as those plans are pretty hard to find. That said, this is a fair approximation that, in the end, has the look of something hacked together from other cabinets. Built in Blender and painted in Substance 3D. Though it sports only 2K textures, those are spread over multiple surfaces that allow for a fair amount of detail. The vast majority of this model is PBR, but the screen protector, joystick, and buttons make use of non-PBR materials. It was fun. Now my Polybius cabinet has someone to play with.
